….time to reveal my choice for P.O.I…..

TTonya I.

featured this month as one of my People Of Interest. These people are game changers, movers and shakers, world shapers of today and tomorrow. and the best thing about these people is that they’re all under 30 :} (no offense to anyone over 30 :/)

I met Tonya last August at the National poetry slam Boston/Cambridge, and I knew after 5 minutes of talking to her that she was brilliant. she reminded me of one of those bright youths that older folks cant seem to find in our generation (Take that MeeMaw!!! lol). Tonya is a student at NYU and a dope poet. She traveled to Ghana a bit ago to continue her studies abroad. Heres an excerpt from her blog “Tonya In Ghana“

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEE!!!!!!

So, YAY!!!! im finally well past legal (eventhough i def still get carded)! i am so glad that i got to see another rotation, and with that i hope that i can also say that i’ve gained some understanding and insight. I hope that i’ve grown more than just older :}. and Aside from the obvious festivities that will take place this weekend, i think im most happy about my friends, family, and LIFE. I will not waste anymore of my precious time by wasting my time. LOL… i will begin to make my goals a reality!

I will end this by saying: God is great!

ive seen it time and time again, and this time all i can say is: THANK YOU HF for every blessing.

_Haulin’ PAss_ Finally i got 2 products from Wet-n-Wild. I bought 519A (a red lipstick) very vibrant matte. Unfortunately its not quite the red i was hoping for, see i wanted a cherry red but this one is more of a strawberry. I also copped the new ColorIcon Bronzer in Ticket to Brazil. this was a fumble as well because it turns out the bronzer is way 2oo light for my skin (duhhhhh). I decided to use the bronzer as a highlight instead. Long story short, both wnw buys were a bust but i’ll be sure to work it out. OVERALL:  i give these products 4 stars because they are what they were advertised as, but i give my self a 3 for picking the wrong colors. lol

_Haulin’ PAss_ Heres part 2 of the first installment. lol I got these L’Oreal H.I.P Matte shadow duos for the low-low. :) you already know i was excited, and i must say that i am mostly satisfied with the payoff of these pigments. they are buildable and they stay fairly vibrant. I use “Poppy” for my on-the-go makeup kit, and thankfully each duo comes with an applicator (so no brushes to bring). i absolutely love it! and as for “Striking” i have yet to use it on my eyes (long story, see my Panem makeup post) but i definately plan to. i love the yellow in it. Stay tuned for more pics. OVERALL: i give this product 4 stars
